Yellowstone Trip Response

Hi students!

I'm very glad to hear that you had an exciting and memorable trip to Yellowstone. It sounds like you saw many amazing places and animals. In this week's blog response, I'd like you to tell me about a particularly memorable experience that you had on the trip. Your story does not have to be long (5-10 sentences), but it should be about something interesting/exciting/memorable/amazing.  I look forward to reading your responses and thank you for sharing your experiences with me and Dan. Happy writing!

P.S. In the next two days, please check your Week 1  Response for comments from me and Dan.

  1. We went to see Planetarium Show which was nice, but all of us fell asleep. When the show finished, everyone woke up together. That's really interesting.Much to my ecstacy,I saw a grizzly bear.I shouted at that moment. It was so lucky. On the way to Yellowstone,I took 536 pictures of extremely beautiful scenery outside the window. It was just like a heaven.Grand Canyon was the most amazing spot I've ever visited. What a great waterfall!

  2. I think everything about the trip was great except for the time organization. We have only a little time so we have to rush all the time, couldn't see every scene and take many pictures. Before Yellowstone, we went to the museum of the Rockies. we saw a movie about space, the theatre was cool, the chair was comfortable that we all fell asleep. The animals in Yellowstone are so amazing but after this lesson I won't stay near them anymore. Actually, I was a bit disappointed at the Old faithful cause I thought it supposed to be bigger. I really should buy more gifts there, I regret now..! I had a nice dinner called "country style", in fact it's just fried meat and French fries but the special sauce made it taste really great! The bus driver and his mustache were nice and friendly, I think this is a awesome trip!

  3. The most interesting thing that I went to the Yellowstone is the bison burger. It tastes just like beef.I though it is delicious. But at first,my original though is the burger I ate is buffalo, just like the cow which helps farmer to farming. When I came back to Missoula to publish my experience,Josh told me that bison and buffalo are the same animal in Missoula.Immediately,I felt very surprise and amazing. But I still though it is worth to eat "bison" burger.

  4. The most interesting thing was to see the bisons. Although many people had told us not to be too close to bisons, the bisons just attracted us to make me close to them. They were really amazing things. We saw one bison taking the rest, the other two were eating the grass. When they stood up or walking around,we were very nervous. Because we were really close to them. They were just about 6 meters away from us! Our guide was really angry about what we did. Fortunately, nobody got hurt in the end.

  6. When on the way to Yellowstone,we saw some bissons and some grizzly bears, but the grizzly bear was too far away that I couldn't see what it was doing, maybe it was just finding something to eat.
But in fact,I thought that we would stay longer in Yellowstone, but there was no enough time for me to see attentively ,but it was still a great trip!

  7. The most amazing thing was to see the biggest hot spring in Yellowstone. I hadn't seen the wonderful scenery before in Taiwan. The fog's color is pink and blue; the water's is orange. It was really unbelievable for me to see the sight. However, we didn't have lots of time to stay at the Yellowstone to enjoy the beautiful scene. So, if I had the chance to come back to America, I must visit the Yellowstone again.

  8. I felt very excited about this trip because it was the first time I went to the such big national park. First , I saw the bison walk into my view it was really a wonderful moment for me . And then, a bear, deers , and a cute rabbit out of the window were really like beautiful pictures. However, I thought it was really a pity that we sat on the bus for a long time and we didn’t feel the comfortable wind . All in all ,I very enjoy the trip :)

  9. To my disappointment, our Yellowstone National Park journey was quiet boring.Because we only have one day, every interesting places we can only have 20 minutes to take pictures.I thought we can hike in the park,or walk around. Not just keep taking the bus. That makes me sleepy!I have no energy during the trip! However,it was still a great experience. Especially, we also saw many wild animals ON the bus(not in a forest)In the end,I decide to come back to Yellowstone one day and take a one week journey!

  10. I think the most interesting was that l saw many hot springs which have small one and big one. And then, I took lots of pictures with them. We just had little time, so we could not watch them carefully. On the way to the Old Faithful, we saw three bisons. We got off the bus and ran to the bisons closely to took some pictures. The guide shouted and asked us to come back to the bus because it was dangerous to us. It impressed me a lot.  I bought lots of souvenirs about Yellowstone National Park for my friends. And l think the most amazing thing is the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone National Park. Because it looked like a picture. It was definitely  beautiful. I hope I could go to Yellowstone National Park again. It's wonderful place.

  11. I think I can watch many kinds of animal and the very wonderful scenery is so lucky.
But I have something trouble that I too close to the bisons and take pictures with them. I’m sorry to everyone and this is my memorable journey.
I ate the buffalo burger and it’s delicious but expensive in the end,. I know buffalo is the same as bison in America recently. I’m surprise and it’s so amusing!

  12. Frankly speaking, I am very interested in this trip about Yellowstone national park. Although it was bored, I still try to stay focus on the sentence what tour guide said. It was too disappoint for me to take pictures because I did not see any wolves or mountain lion in this trip. I know that is very dangerous and deathful. But I still want to see the animals which my favorite is. That is just one part of the reasons why the trip was boring. Second, we always sit in the bus and take pictures all the way. The thing what I really want to do is walking to the massive and incredible canyon in Yellowstone. But that is ok. At least we had walked around in the old faithful and hot spring. It was amazing. Unless this chance, I might not go to this place. Thank you. It still a good journey for Yellowstone national park.

  14. Yellowstone National Park was one of the most beautiful place I have ever seem. Not only the view was so beautiful, besides there were many kinds of animal you can see on the road.We saw bison, grizzly bear ,goats, and elk, each of them amazed me.Although the grizzly bear was too far away that I couldn't see it clearly, but I still felt lucky that I had saw grizzly bears in the Yellowstone Park.
After the trip , I keep thinking about the nature beauty of the Yellowstone Park.It told me that we should protect the environment so the beauty we saw cold be keep forever.
